Hello,

This is the obligatory page where I bang on about myself. I’ll try to be brief.

I’ve been writing for a living for over 25 years now, and have done most things – B2B, B2C, corporate, internal communications, government communications, ghost writing, voice overs, video scripts and more.

This has been for online, print, video and audio channels, and even SMS-based sports reporting and the old “Atari style” Teletext.

I’ve interviewed senior political figures, major Hollywood stars, CEOs, bus drivers, postmen, engineers, children, award winners and people who have recently experienced tragedy.

My output has included movie and stage reviews, political policy documents, complex engineering reports, live sport text commentary, and blogging as three generations of the same family.

So, it’s been quite varied.

I’ve also been making videos for the last decade, progressing from devising and scripting projects to delivering them from end-to-end. I have the skills and equipment to shoot, record audio, edit, mix, colour-grade and deliver a film at affordable rates – ideal for SMEs or smaller projects on a tight budget. In the last few years I’ve also branched out into photography, mainly working with charities.

I’ve also had an on/off creative career – I’m an award-winning playwright, have published a novel and can compose and produce music.

I’m based in London, with my wife, son and cats. I love cinema, genre fiction (westerns and crime particularly), sport (keen runner when my creaking body allows), good food, and bad jokes.
